A Pena 1936 silver woman's secondary education medal

This fantastic small silver medal by A Pena was issued in 1936. The obverse depicts in high relief a woman in classical dress reading a book that she is holding in her hands with a winged rearing horse behind her. It is stamped "1936" and signed "A Pena". The reverse is stamped "Republica O.del Uruguay Piedra Fundamental Seccion Femenina de Ensenanza Secundaria" It is stamped "Tammaro" - the minter and the edge is stamped "Plata" being Spanish for silver. A lovely medal!
